I helped my mother with a charity auction last weekend and it was hosted in the most gorgeous building. It had that wonderful calm, creepy aesthetic and I ran around most of the night taking photos.
The basement containing old bank vaults and dark, dusty rooms was even superior to the hosting space, in my opinion.
